How to configure bluetooth HID mouse under GNOME 2.20
Recent releases of
GNOME bring revamped BlueZ support. One of the great enhancemets is the ability to add your bluetooth
HID devices (such as mouse, keyboard, gamepad) using
GUI.
- Right click on BT icon in notification area and select “Preferences”.
- Select “Services” tab.
- Click “Input service” on the list.
- Make sure the checkbox is checked and the service is in “Running” state.
- Set your mouse in discoverable state (push that tiny button on it – labeled “connect”).
- Click “Add” button.
- Select your mouse on the devices list.
- Click “Connect”.
